I really like this Quote:
I don’t have to know an answer. I don’t feel frightened by
not knowing things, by being lost in a mysterious universe without any purpose,
which is the way it really is as far as I can tell, possibly. It doesn’t
frighten me.

Wonderful!
I can't count how many times I've been told that I, and everyone else, seek certain answers to certain questions.
The assumption is ingrained into certain people. I run into it a lot in discussions with theists.
Really, I'm not going to lose any sleep if I'm no a hundred percent certain about the origins of everything.
I'm okay not knowing too. I like mysteries and surprises. I know what I believe, but I know I don't know it for a fact, and that's okay. I hate it when people insist that they know for a fact, what nobody can know.
It is a fantastic quote...
you should hear him sing it :)

As soon as someone speaks of certainty I know they are speaking from ignorance... or at least I'm 98% sure of that.... [grin].
Great quote. People being afraid of not knowing the answer is almost the whole reason for religion existing.
I think that quotation was worked into the Symphony of Science videos!
What I meant by you should hear him sing it ;-)
