I don't care for the Katy Perry song, but have you ever heard Jill Sobule's? The attitude and lyrics are more different -- more charming to me than the "I'm drunk, look at me" stylings of Perry.
I kissed a girl and I liked it. I don't believe I will go to hell for that. I also don't believe a lot of what people say is sinful is true. I think it's just a way for churches to control the behavior of the masses.

Oh, I'm not a Katy Perry fan but I thought the comment was appropriate.

Couldn't agree more. Quite a bit of Church dogma is all about control.
BTW - If they are right and you do end up in Hell at least we'll meet their and can spend some time in front of a roaring fire getting to know each other better - and most of my friends will be there too so it'll be quite a party.
Once again reaffirming that the Jebus-huggers' idea of "hell" is where all the cool folks will be. If only there were an afterlife, I'd be happy to be there instead of the supposedly "pious."
