I was going to post a V-related video on YouTube with the quotation from his opening speech on it (ending in "Whose to blame?...you need only look in the mirror"), but then I realized that's probably the kind of data picked up by our beloved BB.
I wonder...has that movie changed the nature of bonfire nights? Have they taken on a political edge?

Not so you'd notice - although I saw on the news that there had been a few small protests (and arrests) on Bonfire Night with people wearing the masks from the movie. I think the political aspects of the 5th November have mostly been forgotten. I do wonder just how many people today actually know what the event celebrates.....
