Their leadership seem to be very astute too. No matter what happens, no matter who comes out on top, it looks like the Kurds will have an independent homeland unless someone *really* wants to try to take it from them...
There's *so* much I don't understand about the Middle East its difficult to know where to start........ I wonder if anyone does or can understand what's going on there.

Give the whole country to the Kurds. They seem to be the only ones consistently willing to keep their area peaceful and free of radicals.

Yep. Unfortunately, ISIS is trying like hell to do that. I don't understand their insanity or anyone who backs them.
