My first thought was 'Titanic' but I definitely see what you mean. I'm sure that some of the WoW designers are frustrated interior decorators and architects!
Yeah, Undercity is a much better choice. This is my first time playing Horde for any length of time, so I'm still getting used to it. I have a level 60 Orc Destruction Warlock on Zangarmarsh.
Although I have 8 girls (all 16 of my characters/avatars are female) on both sides I do tend to find myself naturally gravitating to the Horde side of things. Presently playing my lvl 110 Orc Marksmanship Hunter on the Broken Isle.

Well, I'm certainly frustrated while trying to find my way through their cities! ;)
I tend to stay in the smaller ones by choice. Ogrimmar is a nightmare to navigate which is why I hang out in Undercity - or used to anyway!
