i haven't heard that name for a long time: Seabury Quinn... maybe fifty years ago his work was fairly popular. sort of like stanley weyman or even edgar burroughs (tarzan)... tx for the reminder of those ancient days, hiding under the blankets with a flashlight...
I really liked a lot of the SF and Fantasy stuff written between the Wars. Not only was in necessarily original it was VERY inventive too. A LOT of groundbreaking stuff came out in the old pulp magazines of the time.
