In the computer lab, I see a lot of parents doing their kid's paper for them -- copying paragraphs from wikipedia, inserting some photos, etc -- and amuse myself with the idea that (1) a decade or two ago their parents were doing something similar for them or (2) a decade or two from now their kids will be doing the same for their kids. Everyone does school projects, now or later...
@ Stephen: Can't remember either of my parents helping with school projects. They probably didn't feel confident enough in understanding what I needed to do. I do find it funny (or sad) that 'homework' these days - on both sides of the pond it seems - consists of surfing for answers followed by a cut/paste job. Of course back in my day if I wanted to cut/paste from my references my library REALLY wouldn't have been very happy with me!
