The look (even though they're cartoons) on those kiddos' faces is exactly why I started reading to my daughter before she was even born. I hope she always has that sense of wonder when she reads.
It made me smile to see the look of wonder on their faces. That to me is what reading is all about. I absolutely *love* that feeling of discovery when you come across something completely new or find a different angle on something you thought you were already familiar with. I pity people who don't read because they miss out on so much.
