It looks like WW1 vintage so, with radio's being so large back then, it'd have to be a 4 wheel vehicle or a horse. I do wonder/worry about the valves though at any speed higher than a walk. I expect there are two pack-mules off camera with spares!
I remember being fascinated by the whole vacuum tube thing as a child. I'd have loved to experiment with them if we'd had the money back then. That whole side of technology - you know, back when you could actually *see* it and hold it in your hand - fascinates me. I should really know more about it [muses]...

vacuum tubes, yes rather sensitive they were... i recall playing with them at an early age, trying to make a radio...
