If I had unlimited time I would actually devout an entire blog to Star Trek. If you decide to watch Discovery I would love to know what you thought of it. As several of us were discussing in the previous thread, season 2 was radically different from season 1. It was not just the addition of Captain Pike and The Enterprise, there were multiple changes going down to the tone and even the look of the show.
@ Mudpuddle: ST:OS had SUCH a huge influence on my young brain!
@ Brian: I had a similar thought not that long ago! I will probably watch Discovery eventually. I'm still catching up on several other series so it might take a while.... I think the show was getting so much flack from the fans that they had to do *something* with it. They definitely hit the mark with Pike though. I'm interested in how else they improved things.
Funnily I saw a YouTube clip of Discovery meeting up with the Enterprise for the first time. I honestly almost burst into tears of joy!
