It’s just like the 1964 North Vietnamese attack on the USS Mattox that got us into the Vietnam War “officially” because we were already there secretly. 😡. I think the assholes who want war so bad should be the ones on the front lines, including the orange draft dodger in the White House.

@ V V: I think the US is being manipulated into another Gulf War bu Saudi Arabia. They are the one's who would be in a win-win situation if the US and Iran go at each other. I certainly don't see any percentage in Iran starting a war. Plus does the US (alone this time) really want to get involved in *another* fight in the region - even if it'd get the Democratic nomination & Mueller off the front pages until Nov 2020.
The only news I look at is foreign affairs, so I've been facepalming ever since Friday at the arrogance of DC, the transparent manipulation, etc. One interesting bit is that the "drone" is ENORMOUS: I looked up a picture of that model on the day of, and was surprised to see something the size of a B-17. The wingspan is actually longer on the drone!
I *hate* Saudi Arabia. They've been playing Mephisto to DC's Faust for far too long.
