Probably! I actually blame the cultural acid that is Post-Modernism. If nothing is actually true and everything is little more than opinion.... than nothing can actually ever mean anything. It's all just noise...and then we're lost.
i suppose the ideal would be realizing that and having the gumption to behave in a civilized fashion none-the-less: just because it's the best way to live...
