Unfortunately he will be in charge no matter what. He's the PM and he's the one who intends to suspend Parliament for 4 weeks to prevent them from (potentially) stopping the no-deal scenario. If he gets his way - which is very possible - at least we can hope that the resulting fiasco will destroy the Conservative Party for a generation.

I guess he thinks he can't be blamed for the ensuing chaos if he's technically not in charge when everything goes off the cliff?
