Eleanor and I go for walks from our home to her school and back. We stay away from everyone and enjoy the fresh air. When she has to be at her dad's house, I sometimes still walk and take my Kindle for company.
Fresh air is a must, that is for sure. Whenever we do go for walks we are always very careful to stay far from anyone else who is also walking. Some people are quite rude though, and stand ON THE SIDEWALK chatting with friends, so anyone walking has to go around them. It is so frustrating.
I try to only go to the store when Eleanor is at her dad's, but he takes her to the store when he goes, so that is equally frustrating.
We recently moved to a house that backs up to wooded trails and a reservoir. We go out there daily. Today we had a picnic next to the water, then M fished while I read a book. Pure bliss!

modern novel, an old novel, and a volume of poetry... not to mention the sunburn...

@ Mudpuddle: A big enough book will keep you in the shade.
@ Sarah: Only been outside for food ATM. Think I might stand in my garden for a while when it stops raining...

Luckily, the local parks are open. They are not even that crowded. I cannot imagine what it would be like not being able to get out.
Stay safe!

@ Brian: I'm not too far away from some parkland. I might try that if I can avoid the dog walkers!
@ V V: Sounds totally idyllic.... [grin]
