@ Mudpuddle: The HTTP 404, 404 Not Found, 404, Page Not Found, or Server Not Found error message is a Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) standard response code, in computer network communications, to indicate that the browser was able to communicate with a given server, but the server could not find what was requested. The error may also be used when a server does not wish to disclose whether it has the requested information.
The CE at the end (which is usually associated with dates in the Common Era - AKA AD as opposed to BC or now BCE) is to make the second 4 in 404 sound like 'force'.
@ Mudpuddle: No sweat - my ignorance is *BOUNDLESS*. I'm so ignorance that I don't even know the boundaries of my ignorance.... It's why I read so much. [grin]
I worked in IT support for years so am *very* familiar with the 404 Error.
oh... tx i've noticed in the past that the more i learn the less i know; makes me wonder how professors get so smart; maybe they just don't read much haha lol... love it...
