@ Mudpuddle: That's always confounded me. Every time something happens people respond by buying more guns & ammunition. What are they expecting? Zombies?
It's so fucking embarrassing. And add to it, all these assholes could bring their guns and storm into state capitol buildings, even try to break in chambers, and police never broke out the tear gas or riot gear. We start protesting police brutality though, we get gassed and flash-banged and fired on with rubber bullets.
I believe it. One of my friends had gone to the protest the night before the one I wrote about on my blog, and her boyfriend got hit in the leg. They were fired on and were literally just standing to the side, on the sidewalk, just the two of them watching.

don't underestimate those rubber bullets: they can cause serious injuries...
