I remember Facebook many, many moons ago when it was only for college students. First Ivy Leagues, then slowly it rolled out across the US and came to my university in I think November of 2004. Then they rolled out a separate Facebook for high school students and college students, and they could not friend request each other. Then they added work networks where people with company emails could sign up and then eventually it became a free-for-all.

Now that I think about it, Facebook is the longest relationship I have ever had. Coming up on sixteen years in January! lol

@ Mudpuddle: Mmmm... I think you're right!

@ Sarah: Just about everyone I know IRL is on Facebook. Many of them have asked me to join too. Some have actually sent me invites.... Needless to say I haven't joined and never will. Social Media has a LOT to answer for and very little of it is good.

This is true of all of us...I have so many older relatives and respectable society-types as friends on fb now I can't post anything remotely interesting besides nature photos. It's probably for the best...

@Stephen - I would, but all of our family is in another state so most of what I post is for them of Eleanor and I and what we are up to. And also angry political posts, and posts pertaining to social justice. But I 100% agree!
