Impressed that you know about the proposed tunnel! I don't think they've built it - yet! It only looks small in the photo but the site is still pretty impressive - especially when you consider it was all done by hand and brought from hundreds of miles away BEFORE the invention of the wheel! GULP!
they had to have had a system to move all those bluestones and sarsens. i just don't think it could have been done with log rollers; the terrain is too boggy and uneven... i think flying saucers had had to be involved (haha, partly...)

I think it was UFO's or maybe hydrogen balloons. They don't leave much impact on the archaeological record... [grin]
