Didn't doctor's used to fire off a gun (flintlock) next to someone's ear in order to 'cure' something? Or is that another 'urban myth'?
never heard that one: sounds like a cure-or-kill, tho so maybe it would work,lol
They probably never come back for any follow up - AKA cured!
