2021 was a year of loss for me, my nephew, my dog, a friend. 2022 looks like I will lose at least one sibling to cancer, maybe two. I keep breathing and moving forward, knowing others have it worse. I feel like the world is in a bad dream we’re trying to wake up from. I’m okay. Just reflecting.
@ Helen: Happy New Year. Here's *hoping*. There's certainly some good signs that we might finally be beating back the zombie/Covid horde... I guess we'll see!

@ V V: I'm sorry to hear your bad news. The last few years have been pretty awful for a lot of people haven't they. I definitely regard myself as one of the lucky ones. I do hope that '22 turns out MUCH better than expected for you and yours.
