Oh, the alternative cartoons are better -- the 1960s liberals telling us to fight the man, man, and the 2022 version telling us to assume the position and do what we're told. I stopped taking the media seriously after realizing how they were just the PR branch of the corporate welfare/warfare machine. This is the same BS yet again -- the war on terror and covid hysteria redux.
Your media is very strange. I never realised just how partisan a media outlet could be until I started watching clips of it on YouTube. It was astounding until I got used to it. Mostly I watch it for the entertainment value and at least *some* insight into American affairs and the American psyche.
Ok... [lol] AMERICAN media is very strange... [lol] But it's understandable why it got that way. It's a response to, and partly a driver of, the growing partisan nature of American politics. It's part of a feedback loop driven by advert revenue and the fact that media in all its forms have exploded in the last 50 years so that people can pick their very particular brand of poison and outlets are more than willing to sell it to them at a healthy profit.
