It is kind of ridiculous that this is still being pushed as a medical treatment and people are still taking it.

I mean there IS a human form of the drug..... Just not in the doses you'd get for an animal several times your body weight.... [lol] Of course neither version of the drug has ANYTHING to do with fighting, you know, a VIRUS.

It was originally created for humans and won a Nobel Prize for its efficacy in treating a variety of tropical diseases both bacteria and viral. It was also listed as one of the top 5 safest drugs of all-time on the WHO's website until they took that information down in the last couple of years. And the Louis Pasteur Institue in France discovered that it did indeed alleviate symptoms in an animal model: https://www.pasteur.fr/en/ivermectin-alleviates-covid-19-symptoms-animal-model If one does a little digging, one discovers all sorts of information that the media "overlooks". :-)

Still wouldn't do very much about Covid though........ [grin] They actually sorted that with the numerous vaccines in record time, rather than running down various rabbit-holes of 'cures' that might have a slight effect in some circumstances. Covid is a virus. We *know* how to treat viruses and other infectious diseases like it - which is exactly what we did.

In the very first paragraph of the report...

The scientists observed that taking ivermectin was associated with reduced inflammation in the respiratory tract and an alleviation of the related symptoms. The treatment is also associated with protection against loss of smell. However, **the results do not show any impact on the viral replication of SARS-CoV-2**.

In other words it had some effect on inflammation (probably not unlike aspirin) and had ZERO effect on the virus itself. So, even if the patient could breath a bit easier the virus could still kill them.... Yeah, a breakthrough...!
