I had a friend a while back who really hated sleeping. He said that it all seemed like a big waste of time when he could be doing something more important or interesting. He called it 'the little death'. I think he was a textbook case of the "Fear Of Missing Out" - FOMO. Naturally he hated the fact that I demanded my sleep time and always complained that I could 'sleep when I was dead'. Needless to say, our friendship was rather strained @ times!
Well, I've heard it called the "little death" before but while you never wake up from the big one you feel refreshed after your sleep. I can imagine that the friendship wasn't helped by that.

I think that goes for anyone over the age of one. ;)
