Heh, most everyone around me would fail that one pretty badly. It's more dramatic with "daylight saving time" going away, though. Does the UK have an exercise in silliness like that?

Yes, we have 'Daylight Saving'... Although there is periodic talk of getting rid of it. I think it was brought in during WW1 and we never got rid of it. When the clocks go back it feels like the day is *super* long. When they go forward it takes about 2-3 days for my body/brain to catch up. It's a bit like jetlag.

Talk is cheap! Every year our politicians have the same conversation. Maybe this calls for some civil disobedience.

The only argument I've heard in its favour is (supposedly) road safety... Although I'd like to see the comparative stats of countries that do and don't move the time around when it suits them.

But now the days are getting longer once again! And I love winter but hate how dark it gets so early.
