Mostly the precipitous drop in Tesla shares. From November 2021 to December 2022 he lost around $165bn! That's not what I would call a 'genius' at work.... [lol]
Interesting! Didn't realize Tesla was having issues, but I'm glad to hear. Despise private companies being subsidized by the public. The cars & logo do look cool, though.
Apparently he was selling millions of his shares in Tesla to prop up the cluster fuck that he's turned Twitter into. It doesn't generally go well when the owner of a company starts dumping that many shares. Plus there was the feeling that he'd seriously taken his eye off the Tesla ball. Not only that, of course, but since the take over he's been very publicly incompetent in running a very public facing company. Again, not exactly the 'genius' that his fanbase are making him out to be.

I don't study him or his accounts, but I'm guessing much of that record owes to Twitter losing stock value.
