It's been so terribly hot, the hottest yet - but here we are a bit of an anomaly here because it seems like it has been cooler than the past couple summers. I feel like the last 2-3 years we had so many days of high high 90s, and into the 100s. And even by the end of June. But this year we didn't reach those temps until last weekend. Our planet is literally on fire, and we are cooking here, but nothing has yet changed. We are rapidly propelling ourselves to the point of no return.

Unlike the south of Europe, which is most definitely on fire, we've had 5-6 weeks of grey cloud and pretty regular rain. It's not expected to stabilise for another few days. It'll be nice to see blue skies for a few weeks until our dreary winter starts!!

But yes, the world is indeed burning and all I can hear is the far off sound of violins playing........ Maybe we'll START to do something when a major city somewhere burns to the ground.... Maybe...
