Interesting setup - makes me wonder which of these buildings would be considered the "keep". The one in the center near the round tower makes some sense because its its placement, but then there's that interesting development toward the south, with a blockhouse and another larger tower.
It *is* a weird little castle isn't it? Clearly a harbour defensive structure so probably limited by its location and what it was built to defend. The round tower doesn't look especially well place for it to be a 'keep' in the sense I think you're using it. I'm guessing that's more of an observation tower. It might be more of a customs post with secure storage for valuable cargo...

Ooh, where is this? It reminds me of the fort at St Augustine in Florida. Loved visiting that city, it had great vibes and the fort was pretty cool.
