Absolutely spot-on. When I was poor in college and could not afford therapy, music was therapy for me. And even now, when I am still poor but can sort of afford therapy, music still is that for me.
Much as I don't understand people who don't read, I don't understand people who haven't got music on while they do their daily chores/go about their life... A world without music would be a pretty close facsimile to Hell for me. I listen to music from the moment I get up to the moment I go to sleep.
