A little while yet, I think. Putin is probably holding out until after your election results to see if the US will still be helping the Ukrainians. If the Democrats win in November you might start to see the Russians pulling back and making actual peace noises... Maybe...
There are SO many reasons to keep trump from office. People don't get it. I don't want Biden either, but at this point I would vote for his corpse soaking in formaldehyde just to keep that fucking wannabe dictator from getting anywhere near the White House again.
Me too - if I could. Its one reason why I don't understand the thought going around that the assassination attempt will give Trump the victory he needs (to avoid jailtime as much as anything else). He's STILL the same sleazebag - just with a slightly clipped ear.
I feel like it will help him win because those who might have been on the fence about voting for him could probably be convinced by his zealots that, "Look! They're trying to silence him! We need him!" I don't want this to be true and I will do my part to keep it from happening, but we are in a giant clusterfuck right now and who knows what will even happen. The Dems had four years to build up a new generation and they didn't, so now they're scrambling.
