Definitely.

Instincts, especially, are there for a reason. Listen to them....

Yeah, but some people don't have any. Or not enough brain to even know there is an instinct.

Apparently, though I find this hard to believe, around 1/3 of people don't have any 'internal voice' - so maybe they don't have someone saying "Do you really think this is a good idea?" or "I don't think you want to do that, or go with him"

Mostly I find it difficult to shut my voice(s) up! When they're particularly chatty I can struggle to go to sleep... [lol] Some of them are *very* funny though!

Yes! If you are unsure, it's a no! My inner voice never shuts up.

Its funny when your inner voices argues with itself and you can just sit back with some popcorn and listen.... It's like having a permanent podcast plus a kicking soundtrack 24/7.

Do you ever wish to be less intelligent? I often do. Life would be so much easier.

[lol] It *has* crossed my mind more than once over the years. Stupid people, or simply unobservant unreflective people do *seem* to have it easier... But after thinking about it a bit longer... I still like being smart... Smart is FUN, if depressing at times. Funnily I have several memes about that very fact.

I also like being smart but sometimes it's so hard.

Oh, it can most definitely be a drag! I find myself - or used to until I learnt to hold myself back more - going into 'teacher' mode and trying to explain why people were making mistakes or not thinking about it enough or in the right way. People drew the conclusion that I was arrogant, patronising or just being difficult.

I'm often in that situation, even if I try to hold myself back.
