Thank you for the teacher love. We were heroes for about five seconds when parents realized educating their spawn was hard fucking work. Then we were villains because we were not willing to risk our own health and our families' by opening schools so soon. Now it's like nothing has changed and we should be happy with the pay that we get, while buying supplies out of our own pocket.
More to come! Teachers are *so* important in SO many people's lives. Why is it that we always fail to appreciate the people who do most of the REAL work? Covid made a lot of people (and the media) appreciate those that make things run & actually provide stuff people need. It didn't last long after it was over though.... Almost as if the 'love' wasn't real in the first place?
Yeah, did not last long at all. Now I guess we are indoctrinating kids about Critical Race Theory and forcing them to have transgender surgery at school. Like, we barely have enough pencils. But hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of medical equipment? Sure.

It is funny (or AMAZING!) how you can teach kindergarteners CRT and yet they can't tie their own shoes.... Now that's GIFTED teaching... [lol]
