It's true. It's also probably why they were so obsessed with sensationalizing murders. The Victorians are my absolute faves when it comes to reading about murders because the original sources are so chaotic.
I've never really thought about my order before. And some of the periods are people-specific, THEN dynasty-spcific. So...
1. Eleanor of Aquitaine (duh) 2. Plantagenets (through Edward III-ish, then picks back up at henry VI/Edward IV) 3. Anglo-Saxons 4. 1066 5. Tudors 6. Victorian murders/crimes

It WAS an amazing period. SO much going on. No wonder they were half crazy most of the time.
It's one of the only periods I am interested in beyond 1603, otherwise everything is too modern!
[grin] I kinda go - 20th Century/World Wars, Victorian, Wars of the Roses, 1066, done.... Oh, and ROME (of course!).
