A couple years ago our favorite museum had a dinosaur exhibit and Dr. Lindsey Zanno came to give a talk about some on display. It was so cool. But SO hard to take velociraptors seriously with feathers, when I was raised believing they looked the way they were presented in Jurassic Park.
It's all rather disappointing to find out they were barely 3-feet tall and covered in stupid-looking feathers. But I stupidly believe that something so ridiculous looking couldn't possibly be a threat, lol
There's a reason why mammals only really got going *after* the dino's died out. We're were essentially snack food until a giant rock fell from the sky... [lol]

I believe that they're a LOT smaller than the movies make out too...! Shame that, but good that they're no longer around!! [lol]
