Most adverts disgust me. They seem to use two main themes - buy this and you'll get laid or buy this and you won't feel so inadequate (even though you're still a loser).
It's good to see adverts that actually treat people with respect and those with a sense of humour. I was actually very impressed by the quality of adverts on Canadian TV and found their general ethical standpoint very refeshing.

I couldn't tell if the British just do humorous ads better than we do, or if it just seems that way because of little cultural differences.
But their TV ads made me want to watch; ours typically just disgust me!
