This looks very similar to some of the early concept art for the film. I prefer the film version :) The modified costume for the new film looks even better.
I was introduced to Thor - in a manner of speaking - from a very early age both in his original Norse form and in his Americanised Marvel form. I pretty much loved both.
I'm not all that impressed with the new movie version however (the actor or the character).
