Do you have more people celebrating Halloween over there, or is it still pretty sparse?

It kind of varies from year to year. I don't think it's *huge* but the shops are selling (or at least attempting) to sell lots of Halloween related stuff. It's very definitely aimed at little kids and is probably seen as a bit of 'dress up' fun for them. As it falls on a Saturday this year I guess it'll be more obvious later on - plus it's not expected to rain which helps.

I don't think I've seen a single decorated house though. Not even a little bit decorated.

That would kill me. I would go all out, even if I was the only house in the city that did. The comforts of home for me includes traditions.

What kind of Halloween decorations do you usually see? I thought it was limited to pumpkins and such, but in the last five years it's gotten crazy, Christmas-style. Inflatable pumpkins, Grim Reapers and Cerebus on the roof, skeletons everywhere..

...okay, I'm joking about the Reaper and Cerebus.

I dressed up as a biker to go to a Halloween party....but most of the guys there were actual bikers. D'oh. The only other men who dressed up were an Achmed the Dead Terrorist impersonator, and a guy who was either Link or Legolas. I didn't ask because he was drunk and grinding on anyone who came near him.

Oh, just the usual..... Lanterns, ghosts, spider webs, skeletons..... My local supermarket had two aisles dedicated to Halloween stuff - mostly for kids but quite a bit of both indoor and outdoor decoration. I think it's growing every year.

Oh, that party sounded rather hardcore!
