I don't know about you, but when I go to someone's house the first thing I look for is their bookcases. It's always a disappointment to learn most of the books they have aren't theirs, but were passed down from someone and they're just decor for the wall.
I always check out a persons book and music collection when I'm invited to their house for the first time - if they have any shelves of books that is. Some people don't! Although by the time I'm ready to be invited round I'm pretty sure about their reading habits.
Pretty, isn't it V V. I bet the acoustics are pretty impressive too. I can just imagine the music as I walk down the stacks looking for my next read.... [grin]
