I turned down a proposal from an amazing guy once, because he was a couple types of crazy, and that wouldn't mix well with my types of crazy. I really thought it would end up as a toxic relationship with no sane adult in the mix.
Yeah, I was manic and he was exciting and creative, and attentive, and I had no self-control and pretty poor judgement. I don't know how I realized we were too crazy together, but I'm glad I did. More than thirty years later though, I'm still so sad that I hurt him in the process.

Crazy might *seem* like fun from a distance (or for a short time) but up close and personal... it's just CRAZY (and usually bad for you).
