i ordered that book you suggested, "self illusion"; ever since i studied zen for a couple of years, i've been interested in that sort of stuff... tx for the recommend-i'll let you know what i think if i remember...
I read his previous book: The Domesticated Brain and thought it was very good. I haven't read the book I recommended (yet) but it's one of my TBR piles calling to me.... [grin]
