@ Stephen: LOL - I did that with 'His Dark Materials' imagining Nicole Kidman in the role of Lyra's mother... then in the film of Northern Light she was played by.... Nicole Kidman... Now that was just WEIRD!

And use your own actors for the parts! For instance, I'm reading a Roman novel now and Sean Bean is playing the part of the grizzled centurion..
