Oh, I hate it when that happens. The worst though is when you wake up and think it's Friday only to realise that it's Thursday and you have TWO days in work to 'look forward' to before the weekend.
Love it! I see so many posts about people saying good bye to crappy years, every New Year's Eve...and then saying the same thing next year and after that and after that. I must say that 2017 was kind of awful though and I hope 2018 will be much better.

Well, it's only a bit after 7 so I have a few hours left in 2017. Normally I start the New Year sober. Since that hasn't been working too well lately, perhaps I'll try something different.
@ Fred/Mudpuddle: Oh, I haven't been drunk or even mildly blotto for years......................................... I just can't handle the after effects these days and I've never really 'enjoyed' hangovers. I also don't like messing with my brain chemistry too much. I *like* the way my brain/mind works. so why mess with it?

This happened to me last night. For some reason I thought yesterday was New Year's Eve.

As it turned out, I began 2018 sober. Maybe next year?
