The Winter Solstice always cheers me up. I hate the long dark nights and, as I get older, hate them even more.
i frequently have the feeling at this time of year that time is going backwards, reversing the progression of climatic seasons until the vernal equinox, where everything starts over again... call me batty, i guess...
i meant summer solstice, not vernal equinox... sorry...
Yay! Normally I love the winter and the snow, but this year I'm just not feeling it. I'm ready for Spring.
