The Plaza de España is a plaza in the Parque de María Luisa, in Seville, Spain, built in 1928 for the Ibero-American Exposition of 1929. It is a landmark example of the Regionalism Architecture, mixing elements of the Renaissance Revival and Moorish Revival styles of Spanish architecture.

@ Mudpuddle: It definitely looks Gothic/Catholic church style so I know why you thought Italian.

@ V V: When I saw this piccy a while back I thought it looked familiar. Then I discovered the building was used in both "Lawrence of Arabia" and in "Star Wars: Attack of the Clones". But then I realised the reason it looked familiar was that I'd actually BEEN their with my ex many years ago..... [lol]
