@ Sarah: Excellent, isn't it. Never seen ballet live but it does look pretty amazing. They have to be so fit & strong to do this sort of thing. No wonder it takes them so long to be really good at it!
It truly is. Have you ever seen videos of Misty Copeland? She is phenomenal, easily the greatest ballerina dancing today, and possibly ever. She didn't start until she was 12 or 13, and was dancing en pointe within three months. She was truly made to be a ballerina - and she is the first Black principal dancer in the history of the ABT. Eleanor and I got to see her a few years ago when ABT was traveling with the St Louis Symphony. To see Misty Copeland dance Firebird was one of the greatest nights of my life, I was in tears.

Eleanor LOVES ballet and lyrical, she was totally built to be a ballerina and I love watching her dance, it is almost magical. This image is gorgeous.
