listening to Walter Cronkite narrate the landing was a lifetime experience... it's still hard to believe that stupid old humans were actually able to do it...
@ Mudpuddle: I *think* I watched it live but that might have been a later confabulation. I was 9 at the time so it might be a real memory.
@ James: It's amazing, looking back, at how *primitive* the technology was/looked back then - and yet, with that they still managed to put men on the Moon.... and only 66 years after the first powered flight!
