LOL. We never wore flat caps in my area. Probably too late in the day and too urban/west-side.... Plus my Mum never really liked cats so we never had any growing up. Had most other things though. Everything from fish to rabbits to minor birds.....
We also had a variety of animals, cats, dogs, fish, parakeets, fish, rabbits.
@ V V: I think having pets is really important growing up. It teaches kids about a LOT of life's most important lessons.
