My favorite music, and prior to Groundhog Day and Philadelpha Story, my favorite movie. :) Have you ever compared this to the stage production's "America"? I have a recording of the new broadway cast doing America and...there are parts I like about it, but the tension between Anita and Bernado better serves the story than between Anita and ...Rosalia, I think it is.
@ Stephen: Something we have in common - musical wise anyway! [lol] I haven't seen/heard the stage production. I think I fell in love with this movie in my early years. It's a great story but that's not a huge surprise as its based on one of the greatest love stories of all time! Ever since posting this I've been humming the tune... [grin]
