Despite my constant shouting of destroying the patriarchy (and I fully see the irony in it), I have been 100% behind Bernie Sanders since the beginning. But the idiots here don't understand the difference between socialist and democratic socialist, so I'm just a socialist. Oh well.
Indeed. I'm guessing that there are *some* Socialists in the US - on YouTube anyway - but there's unlikely to be any in Congress. Even Bernie is a Centrist. He *might* just make it into the Social Democrats over here but he'd definitely not be on the Left. Neither him or AOC are Lefties from my perspective, though I guess moving towards the center is (technically) moving Left, so..... But they've got a LONG way to go before being SOCIALISTS. [lol]
A loooooooong way. And here Bernie is considered so far left, he's falling off the spectrum. I would not consider him a centrist at all by our standards, which are admittedly pretty low. But Bernie is a good one. I believed in him wholly and 100%. But Clinton was forced on us, and we all know how that turned out. It just makes me sick to think how different things might look for us right now if that twatwaffle had never gotten elected.
