Apparently murders, divorces and suicides peak around this time of year (plus of course family arguments, heavy drinking, affairs etc....). All part of gathering around the tree and being disappointed with your presents... [lol] Of course most especially if you're trapped by the weather & *can't* leave!
How's the weather been with you? Not TOO rough I hope? Keeping warm OK? Naturally the news has been showing all the dramatic bits but it still looks quite nasty in places.
It's been warmer these last couple of days! The snow from Christmas Eve/Day melted, which I was frankly happy about it (mostly because of the icy roads). I stocked up on some more groceries today juuuust in case we get any more.
We had a brief cold snap a few weeks ago. Now it's mild and wet.
Always good to have at least a few days supplies in! I like to have enough on hand so that on any particular day I'm confident that I don't *have* to go out for anything no matter what.
