That is some serious skill.

Isn't it just. If I lived near by I'd never build another traditional snowman. I'd be too embarrassed.

Right?! No snowman or massive snow fort I have ever built compares to this artistry. And I am from Minnesota, so I have some serious skill and experience from many winters of perfect snowy conditions.

What little snow we did have here has all gone now. The temperature has jumped by about 15C and its been raining pretty much all day. No snow predicted until New Year at the earliest.

Eleanor and I were supposed to head home to Minnesota today but it's snowing from here to home the whole day, so we will wait until tomorrow. Roads will be bettwe (hopefully) and been sanded, salted, and cleared.

Have a fun Christmas with the family and a *safe* drive there and back!

We've arrived safely, thank you! Just in time too, blizzard arriving tomorrow afternoon/evening! Perfect weather for FINALLY posting some new reviews...and getting all my year-end posts together.

I hear that MUCH snow is on the way to a lot of the US. But you guys especially are used to that sort of thing I'm guessing! I look forward, as always, to your post.

We're still in the thick of it - temps have been insanely cold due to wind chill. Currently it is -5, feels like -32. And that's warmer than yesterday when we were -12, feels like -41! All county roads and interstates are closed, it's bad. Snowplows are not even out, and there's limited emergency services. it will start warming up in a couple days, but we are supposed to get 4-5 more inches of snow on Sunday-Monday.

I saw on the news!!! Supposedly a 'once in a generation' event.... until next year or the one after that. I'm *ever* so thankful that Climate Change is a MYTH. Stay warm (as you can) and stay SAFE. Have fun and a safe journey back home...

Ha, yes, that silly myth that people believe in because scientists give them facts and examples supported by evidence, and peer-reviewed studies to explain how fucked up our planet is.

I went out today and it is still very cold but it is also sunny once again, which is nice. Roads are not terrible, but are hard-packed with snow so it can be slick.

So far if the forecast stays what it is (whcih it won't), or is at least similar, we should have decent travel back to NE. Luckily we have another six days before we have to think about leaving!

I'm sure that the snow will probably be gone in 6 days... So you'll only need to be concerned about the follow on flooding.....
